In honor of J’Ouvert and the West Indian American Day Parade, we present a three-night screening of MELO-X 's JUVÉ NITE (2018, 17 min.), a short film that celebrates the people of the Caribbean diaspora who call Brooklyn home, and portrays the joy, revelry, and unity of the borough's thriving annual carnival traditions. Screenings will take place on the Museum Plaza, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, playing on loop from 7-9pm.
Tune into our Instagram Live today at 3pm to hear MELO-X discuss the film with Lauren Zelaya Director of Public Programs
