So, my apologies for not posting any new fics. One, I had the most extreme case of writers’s block. Two, I started taking summer classes so I can have enough credits to start as a senior in college. I hope I can over come this because I need to empty out my drafts real soon. 🥲

Out of all the medical drama shows that has been made, which one do you think is the most realistic to you from your perspective as a nurse?

Absolutely none of them lol

Grey's Anatomy -> 3 doctors to ambulate one patient? Let's be serious but everyone dating each other is kinda true in what I've recently seen (ew)

The Pitt-> multiple doctors for one patient and seeing them as soon as they are in the ambulance bay? Nope

The focus is always on doctors on these shows but nurses are the fucking backbone of the hospital and honestly keep doctors from killing you

Hospitals would not survive without us and the focus needs to be put on us for once

Don't get me wrong, there are doctors who do go above and beyond and know their shit, but a lot are lazy as fuck and put everything on nurses

They need to listen to us more

Idgaf if it's 2 am, if I tell you to get to the bedside for a patient, get to the fucking bedside so we can get ahead of the problem instead of them coding later

That's my 2 cents 🥰🥰

Nurses are the shit and I can talk a big game because I've been doing this for closer to 10 years as opposed to one year and know my stuff
