Escaping New York City: Muksha
One of my ways of escaping the city is attending the meditation and yoga classes offered by the NYU Global Spiritual Life. These classes are offered freely on a weekly basis. I love New York City but sometimes this city can be a bit overwhelming especially during finals and midterms. Thus, during those times, I take advantage of those classes offered by NYU where I take some time for myself. I feel reenergized and serene every time I attend those classes and I think that this weekly mindfulness meditation is a good technique of being “peaceful” in such a hectic city such as New York City.
