I see! That sounds fine but I'd personally get rid of the le. In normal convo if I'm relaying something that already happened ("she asked me if I could [...]), I'd just say to the listener "她问我可不可" if the context of the convo already implies that we're talking about the past.

i’m trying to write like a dialogue where it’s like “she asked me if i could play with her on saturday” and i’ve got “她问了我星期六可不可以跟他玩” ??
