Wish I have posted about this two to five posts ago but here I am. I was really sick and did not want to play this New Years Eve show but my first bassist, Andy Apathy, talked me into it and yeah it was over the phone. He promised me he'd bring something for me that would make me feel better and oh boy did it. I was lifting Marshall Cabinets like they weighed 5 lbs each. Thought that joint of zombola, a.k.a. Angel Dust, really did the trick and I did feel so much better. The next day I felt like death and stayed in bed for a week with what felt like was the flu, like it hurt to breathe, and that I never happened to me before. But for that New Years night, 1983, not only my band but mostly the original bassist, Andy, and no they don't have pictures of him that night (sure it had something to do with his favorite brand; 116th's Crazy Eddie) came through big by not letting me stay home sick on that New Years eve night 39 years ago. And look at all these nice pictures from that night that's in that book @sb14th_and_east Everyone!
