🍔 Review № 426 ━ 📍 Father & Son’s Burger ★★★★☆ • Father & Son’s Burger is a foodtruck that opened in the beginning of 2020 in central Nyköping, 100 kilometres south of Stockholm. Located on Stora Torget, they serve five different beef burgers (with vegan options for all of them). The price is low, with a burger with a single 100 gram patty costing 59-69 SEK (7-8 USD). We ordered a Say Cheese with double cheddar slices, pickles, onions, mustard, ketchup and mayo for 59 SEK. We also added an extra patty for 20 SEK (2 USD) which was fine, but we also had to pay an additional 10 SEK (1 USD) for one slice of cheese, which felt a bit strange. Adding a menu (fries and a soda for 35 SEK (4 USD)) brought the entire price up to 124 SEK (14 USD), which was quite a step upwards, price-wise. • We got our meal in a take away bag, and our burger came wrapped in paper, making it quite gooey from the start. But this didn’t stop us from enjoying the excellent flavours from the really juicy beef. We could have done with some more crust on the beef in order to give our meal more varied textures, since everything was very soft. The classic brioche bun was super fluffy as well, and the only thing that gave our meal some crunchiness was the slightly too sweet pickles. We enjoyed how the fries tasted, but they had retained a bit too much oil and should have been cooked in hotter oil. • But despite a few small mistakes, Father & Son’s Burger have done a lot of things right, and have established themselves as a welcome addition to Nyköping’s growing burger scene. ━ @fatherandsonsburger #burger #burgers #burgertime #burgerporn #burgerdudes #burgerlovers #food #foodie #hamburger #hamburgare #nykoping #nykopingburgers #nykpg #nykpgburgers #🍔 #🍟 #🇸🇪 (at Father and Son's Burger) https://www.instagram.com/p/CFjEluMFYBZ/?igshid=kybkpkvlvau9
