Warmth: The Dog, the Cat, and the Rat
"Okay, ready?" William had been the one to come up with the idea, and while Odd was quite on board with it, Jeremie had needed some convincing. After a considerable amount of wheedling, the blond with glasses gave in and now they were playing Trivial Pursuit.
"Don't use the internet," Jeremie warned him. William smiled sheepishly. "I'm not the best liar, you know." Odd and Jeremie both shared looks as they started the game.
Odd stared. William stared. Jeremie smiled. "Looks like I win."
"HOW DID YOU KNOW SO MANY ANSWERS?!" William sputtered. "All you do is coding and stuff!"
"Yeah! We hardly ever see you doing anything besides gluing your eyes to your laptop!" Odd chimed in, folding his arms and sulking.
Jeremie raised his hands as if shielding himself from their complaints. "As it so happens, I do this thing called 'reading' pretty often. You two should try it sometime."
"Aw, shaddup." William reached over and gave the genius a noogie. Odd laughed as Jeremie flailed and tried to get his tormentor off, unsuccessfully. "William! Ow, cut it out! That hurts!"
