I think I'm going to drop Nylon. The app at least. I still love the cover shoots and discussions on indie musicians in the printed magazine. I just feel like the digital Nylon only talks about the Kardashians, Jenners, and the Taylor Swift. The so called feminism they spout is so low rate, as if women's social equality is only about nipples and icons (Facebook and real life's). I think that there is no actual news of any importance on the app. We aren't talking about Cuba and their embassy or the (hopefully) deal with Iran that could possibly make our presidents most famous international relation. And why not. It's sort of lack luster to just read about Scarlett Johansons amazing new hair color or an overrated band singing in a shower. I want to be able to read about the newest designs and international woes and triumphs. I never see any articles recommending female owned business around me. I think that they're focusing too much on the already famous and not enough on things that matter to many others.

Time for an inspiration post! Haven't done one for quite a while now. I've been browsing Nylon's website the whole morning, and I completely fell in love with the photos I saw. I then decided to make all the photos on this post from Nylon's site. A polaroid would be a really really nice Christmas gift oh please oh pleeease. I'm dying to get one. Haha! I've also been dying to dye my hair crazy colors, though I'm not really sure I could pull it off. Maybe start small with ombre tips? After I graduate high school, maybe I'd get the chance to color my hair, although I doubt my mom would agree. Lol. Oh, and I need Bart Simpson pullovers. Like seriously..
Anyways, please take time to pray for the Philippines. The strongest typhoon this year would hit (or has already hit) our country. Hope everyone would be safe and dry until the storm passes. x
