oh man okay fuck uhm:

1. I like how loyal I am. If I have a loved one, I would go to the ends of the earth for them and would do anything for them

2. I (generally) like my work ethic. I think I’m really hard working and I don’t really stop, especially if it’s something I’m super passionate about.

3. I like how extroverted I am. Sometimes it’s a little much, but I like being able to feel relatively comfortable in a new environment and feed off other people’s energy

4. I like my eyes.

5. I also really like my desire to learn? Like I love learning (not necessarily in school even) and getting new information is such a treat for me

There were days when Paula wished her hair would cooperate. She argued with her curls but they bounced back from each argument, seemingly stronger than ever. But there were days when she loved her hair. The way it cascaded down her back, how it framed her face and captured the light, how it matched her deep dark eyes. She made self-deprecating jokes as she posted pictures of herself online, referring to her pictures as “my shitty face,” but each post felt like an act of defiance. I am beautiful, she told herself, whether I believe it today or not.
