I'm just wondering about shenanigans of Ardyn trying to recruit the Nara who is just "nope, nap time - next six months are booked" because they've been there done the entire war thing before and this is their retirement, okay?
there are many shenanigans, mostly Ardyn blowing stuff up to try and entice the Nara because look fire fun or just straight out kidnapping them while the Nara sleeps through it because meh, nap time
until eventually Ardyn hits on the fact that all Nara’s are massive nerds
and Ardyn happens to have a completely unknown source of chakra/magic to the Nara and they are fascinated okay - especially when you add in the changes the scourge made and just
okay Ardyn is feeling more like a science experiment by the moment but new child is interested and magic discussions and shadow magic
then they see Ardyn warp for the first time - he doesn’t tend to often, everything else can be passed off but warping is a bit obvious - and that Ardyn could give the ability to the Nara and the Nara just
