It had been weeks of hard work. The young glaive was absolutely exhausted and he was so thankful for a hot bath today. He’d added some special oils to the water, that helped soothe his aching muscles all the time.

The scolding hot water felt so nice on his body and he had just settled in, when he heard the door open and someone walk in, still talking. So not what he wanted to deal with right now.

“What the hell?”

Ignis had been on the phone when Nyx had come home, he didn’t hear him come in nor did he realize he’d already filled the tub. He was deep into a heated debate on the phone when he dropped it, surprised when the man scoffed. “Nyx! I’m sorry!” he closed the door but forgot his phone. “Nyx?! IGNIS... IGNIS.” the voice is yelling to get the man back at attention. “HEY. YOU HEAR ME?! IGGY.” 

Ignis realizes he’s left the phone in there and he opens it and reaches blindly with his hand and pawing for his phone, hanging up accidentally on the other, Ignis cursed himself and dragged his phone out. “Sorry Nyx- I... Sorry!”

THE Hero (w/ Nyx-oftheGlaive)

Begrudedly the eleven year-old prince walked down the halls towards the training room.  Gladio had been a bit ‘cruel’ to him the other day (and cruel as in the definition a preteen would give to the word with every bit of dramatic flair and hormonal angst).  He had just wanted to eat dinner with his father after all.  Was that a hard concept to understand?

So with a huff he opened the doors to the training hall and found it blessedly empty.  At least he could go through his doctor mandated stretch regime with out the judging looks of anyone from either the Crownsguard or the Glaive.

Gently he eased into a series of side stretches reaching his arm over his head, leaning bending over in the opposite direction, and holding the deepest stretch he could for ten seconds before switching to the other side.

The door opened, and he groaned nearly dropping his posture but at least he was committed at this point.

It was a member of the Glave.  Someone he didn’t recognize which might be a good or a bad thing.  

“Hey,” he grunted, placing his free, non stretched, arm on his hip.  

Please don’t think I look like a dumbass....

Nyx shrugged at the question. He did actually know how to cook. He just never told anyone what he put in his food. Recipes from his home were sneaky secrets to him.

“Yeah. Sure did. Why?”

“....You never told me you knew how to cook!” He’s lighting up and the thought of being able to learn new dishes from a Galahd? To cook with the other?! Ignis’ cheeks flushed deeply.

32. Your muse watches mine getting undressed.

It had been a very long day, that included an extremely long and dangerous mission. Nyx hadn’t been in the city for over 15 hours and he was pretty damn tired. What he hadn’t been expecting, was to find Ignis at his door.

A small smirk appeared on his face as he unlocked the door and let Ignis in before he followed. He was still in his full glaive uniform at this point. “I just gotta get changed, but uh. Make yourself at home.” He said, before making his way into his bedroom.

What he hadn’t been expecting, was for Ignis to follow him into the bedroom and make himself at home on the bed. Well then.

Considering circumstances, Nyx just smirked and started to strip out of his uniform. He was gonna enjoy himself now, simply because Ignis had decided to follow. Off came the cloak and it’s hood and mask to start with, then his undershirt and jacket. Followed closely were his shoes, socks and pants, leaving him standing there in nothing but his underwear.

“See something you like?”

Ignis flushed softly as he stepped in with him ecstatic that he had made his way back in one piece. He had to see for himself and seeing the other in the uniform only made him feel better. Make himself at home? Don’t mind if he did. He followed the other into his room and sat on the bed. “Something that piques me.” he smiled softly at the other as he stood near-nude in front of him. 

His eyes studied the other, his ink, his musculature structure, scars fresh and old. “I see some one that made it home.” Ignis sat up and took off his gloves, his palms getting sweaty with his nerves. It took a bit to get used to the thought of what he just did; barging in with out so much as a call.

Sitting on the aircraft, on their way to their next job, Nyx was deadly silent. He was sitting between three of his friends, focusing on sharpening his kukris again. It was pitch black at night and the team were on their way to an isolated town.

They were almost there, when Nyx heard his phone go off at the sound of a message. He fished it out of his pocket and unlocked it. He was shocked by what he was seeing; there was a naked photo of Ignis on his screen. What made it worse, was the fact that the others were looking over his shoulder at what he had been sent.

[Text: Ignis. 11:23pm 01.17.xx] Nice view. Bad timing.

Ignis Can’t understand how the other could have loaded it but his phone pings a messages hasn’t sent... he hits resend, but it’s a little LATE.

He rubs his face, wondering what’s going on with Nyx right now; who had seen?

49-: “Please, tie me down so I don’t do anything I’ll regret while I’m in heat.”

Nyx whirled around to face the omega, a look of sheer confusion on his face. He really wasn’t the person to be saying that to, considering he was an alpha after all.

“Maybe I should call Noctis to come get you….” It was obvious that the alpha was having a hard time staying away. He could smell the omega from across the room.

Ignis shakes his head. “There’s no time.” he urges. “Nyx- please- lock me in your locker- anything- I just...” He’s humming and his legs are trembling. “He’s all the way at the meeting and it’ll take him almost an hour to get here!” What’s making it worse is the Alpha’s scent.

Scratch

Another day, another wound. This one hadn’t been bad enough to warrant a trip to the doctors, so Nyx had just bandaged it up to get himself home. Thank the stars that Todays run in had only been with a pack of coeurls, instead of something nastier.

Sitting on the couch, NYx was halfway through stitching up the wound himself when he heard the door open. He’d told Ignis that he was home, with just a couple scratches. He’d not mentioned the gash on his arm, which he was currently tending to.

Hearing those words, he looked up and shrugged. “Didn’t think it was worth mentioning. ‘S nothing major anyway. Plus, I’m nearly finished.” He said, still pushing the needle through his skin.

Ignis has gotten the text; usually it meant

I’m home. Don’t rush over cause I’m busy doing something stupid.

He rushed over and let himself in and pointed at him. “I knew it! You realize I’m a medic?! he rubbed his face. He could have smacked the needle from his hand if that wasn’t dangerous. “Where else are you hurt? Let me finish you up...” he washes his hands in the sink and rejoins him.

Ignis doesn’t reply to the last message. He’s in his car speeding towards the hospital. He has no idea what state the man is in, but he’s not going to be pleased either way. He’s driving at night, which makes him on edge, but it’s nothing compared the anxiety he’s having; a fear that Nyx is actually hurt if he’s still in the hospital and Crowe has his phone. It’s bad enough shes texting him on his phone... which means he probably isn’t awake. He’s running scenarios through his mind and its distracting him. He feels the wheels of his vehicle scuff too close to the side walks raised edge and he snaps back to reality. 

He parks and pays the ridiculous hospital parking fee in excess so he doesn’t have to come out for a while, he’s racing down the halls desperately seeking room 109.
