Yep! I have a cat named Angel, and two aquatic turtles named Limni (Greek for lake) and Padfoot. :D

Welcome to hell
Chekov had always been slightly excited to get a new crew member. He always made it his mission to help them feel welcomed, though he wasn't even sure why. He'd always been shy, and avoided people as much as possible. But meeting captain Kirk, he had changed a bit. He saw how he cared about everyone of the crew members, and wanted to try his best to do the same. He didn't want to know what it would be like if no one had welcomed him, or took the time to know him. And since this new man was part of security, he knew he probably wouldn't have much of a chance to get recognized.
So that is just what Chekov had done. He spoke to the other a few times, always asking him what he thought of the ship, and the rest of the crew. Things were uneventful for awhile. The crew member seemed nice enough to Chekov, but he could tell he wasn't interested in speaking to him much.
When word began to go around the ship that crew members were turning up dead, Chekov didn't even think that there was a chance the newer crew member was to blame. Deciding to warn the other, he waited till his shift ended, then went to the quarters of the man who was named Joe. Knocking on the door, he was surprised when it opened up. Looking up at Joe, Chekov gave a smile. He had never felt intimidated by the large size of the other male. He was part of security after all. "Hello Joe! Ez ett okay eef I speak to you for a moment?" Nodding, Joe moved out of the way. Hitting the button to close the door behind him as soon as Chekov was in the room, he smirked when Chekov let out a choked sound at what he saw as soon as he entered the room.
Stumbling back, the young Russian stared at the bloody body that was sprawled out on the floor. "E-Ett is you doing zee killing..." Wanting to run, he saw Joe blocking the door. Reaching for his communicator, he let out a shriek when the bigger male grabbed his wrist and twisted it till it cracked. Laughing, Joe took the communicator and smashed it under his foot. "You made a mistake by coming down here. I kind of liked you. But now I have to kill you."
Panicking, Chekov just held his broken wrist with his other hand. He tried to make a dash for the door, but was thrown to the floor. Staring up, the last thing he saw before everything went dark was the grin upon the other male's face.
Beating Chekov till the brink of death, Joe tossed aside a knife he had used to cut into Chekov's bare chest. He always found cutting up his victims to provide excitement. Looking at the time, he realized it was late, and most everyone would be in bed. Lifting up Chekov's limp body, he took him from his room, and dumped him in a spot where he knew someone would find his body. What he didn't know was that Chekov wasn't dead. Of course he was very close to death, but was somehow managing to cling to life.
Walking away from Chekov's still form, Joe went and disposed of his other victim, cleaned up, and went on to bed.
