1. Elza (right)

Elza has generally been softer in her pictures, so color me surprised that she was able to go entirely fierce and convincingly pull it off! She’s never looked so edgy, her eyes are on fire and she almost looks like she’s growling. I love all the angles she created with her pose and how she connected with her sister, and the kicked up leg creates movement and also draws attention to the shoes. Elza was really turning into one of the frontrunners at this point, I love this photo of her!

2. Nellie (left)

The twins worked so seamlessly together; not only did I think they were the best individuals of the week they also had my favorite overall photo by miles! How neither of them placed higher than 5th at panel is beyond me. Nellie was a fantastic base for Elza to play around, but she didn’t forget to shine in the process. Her pose is so casual and relaxed while still selling all of the fashion. She managed to catch the light flawlessly and her stern stare is magnificent. Nellie excelled in this photoshoot!

3. Lara

Lara’s pose is so neat! The dramatic lean to the side is instantly attention-grabbing and displays all of the styling so well, and the point of her foot is a nice touch as well. This is on the verge of being truly brilliant, but she didn’t fully bring it home with her face; she looks gorgeous but kinda sleepy (if she kept the same look but with her eyes more open it would be fine).

4. Courtenay

I normally hate the “I have lower back pain” hand position but Courtenay pulled it off like a pro. She modeled the heck out of the styling from head to toe. Her eyes could possibly have more feeling in them, but the typical high fashion bored-ness is still effective and I love the toss of her head. I don’t think this was FCO worthy, but it’s a strong showing from Courtenay nonetheless.

5. Dakota

Dakota tilted her head way too far back and her eyes are getting a bit lost in the makeup, but other than that this is one of her better performances so far. She interacted very well with Danielle by leaning inwards and propping an arm on her shoulder, and her simple pose works for the styling she was given. The aforementioned angle of her head is an issue, but I love how strong her jawline looks here and her confidence is still apparent. Dakota did well.

6. Michaela

This might sound weird, but I love Michaela’s torso and legs in this shot but I’m not a fan of much else. The dress looks fabulous on her and her legs are amazing. Unfortunately, her arms look out of proportion and the straight one is pinned strangely to her side. The head tilt and arrogant expression are cool, but she needed to relax her lips more since she’s doing a slight pouty snarl that isn’t really appealing. Michaela was middling at this point and I was waiting for her to return to her early glory.

7. Danielle

I kinda like how Danielle countered Dakota’s energy and is like the fed up older sister, but her individual portion of the photo is underwhelming. The collapsed body language is solid and she modeled the outfit well. Her face is beautiful, but her expression is a bit too sullen and tired. It’s not a bad shot, but it’s a far cry from what I’d expect out of Danielle.

8. Eva

Eva’s face is pretty strong in this shot. She has a wonderful profile and she gave intensity, but I almost with she was looking away from Michaela instead. However, the pose is really awkward. I think her hands are too far forward on her hips, her shoulders need to be lowered, and she didn’t lock in her stance well enough. This is probably Eva’s weakest shot to date, but her elimination was completely unfair: I get the judges’ concerns that maybe she wasn’t ready for the pressures of the industry (and she was going downhill too), but based on her overall performance she was easily in the top half of the contestants at this point.
