Teepee Cider is situated in the rich agricultural Wairarapa valley separated by a steep mountain Remutuka/Ruahine range from Wellington. Transport was either a treacherous road or the fell railway. Then in 1955 a game changer tunnel was built that allowed produce to eas flow.
