So everyone saw the whole ‘timeless child’ bit in Spyfall part 2, right?
Its a really fast scene so please forgive the low quality of my screenshots... I’m not the most eloquent with words but I’d just like to take a closer look at that child in the Doctor’s head.
So it starts with a child in orange/black robes in front of a concrete-looking building
While the robes are a little reminiscent of time lord ceremonial robes, they’re the wrong colour, and also that definitely isn’t Gallifrey, given the sky is blue, not orange. I’m guessing this is the timeless child they’re talking about, but they’re obviously not Gallifreyan.
Then the kid looks up to the top of the building and we see this portal thingy.
the blue/purple colours and the clouds kind of reminds me of the Cardiff rift or the time vortex, maybe? That would link with the whole ‘time’ theme (though what other themes could there be where the time lords are concerned...)
Anyway, this is just me speculating on a three-second clip (literally, I timed it), and we are only two episodes into this story arc! I’d love to hear anyone else’s ideas on this!
