How are the candles? Helping you fall further and further in love with me, I hope! So I decided that I do want you to still have that haunted skull, I’ve got a guy purchasing and sending it to your address right now and I hope you find a place for it in your home! Maybe in the bathroom, I noticed a lovely potpourri arrangement near the sink and I think it’ll compliment it nicely!

Freshest rumor going around the castle is that Slughorn’s having an anniversary party, by the way. Coming?

Dear favourite Lestrange,

While I contemplated leaving the candles on my nightstand for sweet dreams, I am currently saving them for when I miss you- one cannot waste all the falling in love at once. I will make sure to eagerly check my mail; I’ve been meaning to find a paper weight for a while now and I cannot think of anything better than a haunted skull. I know my mother will be beyond delighted when she notices it on her next visit. 

You know I always take any excuse to come up to the castle (even if the reason is the old Slug). I’ll see if an invite comes my way and if not, find someone to bring me along as their date.

To my darling Rabastan,

Can you believe that exactly one year and three days ago, we were getting on the train to Hogwarts? It feels like a dream! The freedom is intoxicating. Already I have spent these past few days sleeping until noon, having luxurious breakfasts, and reading to my heart's content. It is glorious!

How have you fared thus far? I imagine now that we are graduates, and therefore responsible young adults, there should be some level of celebration on the horizon. You must promise to not leave me out of any arrangements, formal or otherwise. If there is a chance to let my hair down, I am on board!

How were your N.E.W.T. results? I could barely open my letter; Andromeda had to do it for me. They were far better than I had expected, though Bella did point out I have "a propensity for melancholy" and thus my fear was certainly irrational. I feel she has a point, though her sudden use of long words is somewhat off-putting. Your brother is a strange influence.

This is a short letter, I am afraid! Mother promised we could go shopping this morning, and I am terribly excited. Three days of luxury aside, I must see other people, or else I will turn into stone.
