Catastrophe as the introduction thing to Vigilantes here lol things are gonna be fine here huh… there’s a lot of “this’ll happen in the future” humour in Vigilantes… I’m surprised they kept in this Kaniko Eraserhead scene I thought based on the episode preview it’d be cut either completely or significantly shortened but that doesn’t seem to be the case… you know considering how Koichi had unfortunate rumours spread about him cause of a misunderstanding he sure is eager to spread rumours about Eraserhead… those capsules look kind of familiar… love how the scar faced villain just has a FedEx badge on his arm… literally no attempt to hide it at all… I mean the “e” is a bit smudged so it could technically be an “a” or an “o”… but still… You know I thought CC’s wife would have sounded a little… older… IDK… anyways kind of weird that CC and his wife are just talking in Japanese here especially his wife like logically she’s supposed to be tired so it’d make more sense to speak in English… can’t believe you embarrassed your wife like that C.C not cool… and this is why the sky egg has a lot of focus in the opening here… I still wish it had more emphasis on CC here rather than Knuckleduster especially since the big thing in season 1 was how he left so it’d be more surprising when he returns but he’s in the opening so he’s literally in every episode except the last Shirakumo one… and hasn’t officially reappeared since the mixer episode so… like was it really so hard to add some CC and scar man/2’Oclock scenes in the opening…

Members

• Inei’s model bears a physical resemblance to the Rockwell XFV-12.

-His v.1 bio is complete, so you can see it here.

-He can move erratically like the Jabberwalkers from RWBY, but that’s a trait exclusive to Inei’s Rakumo alias:

-O’Clock is planned to be the only member of the carnival Inei bonds with. If, GB and his new partner-in-crime from S8 are related by blood; O’Clock is possibly gonna be a “platinum GB.”

• Despairada, the boss of the Kyoufu Carnival, is an elusive rogue. She is a performer herself, but only appears for a “special event.” Since she is a master fear bringer, competitors outside of the Kyoufu circle are terrified of facing her, such as BW who avoided fighting her at all cost (he went after Karakumo instead).

• General Surge is basically the Soldier from TF2. He’s also the second largest/tallest member of the carnival, having to almost reach the same height as a transformed-Poppa Wheels.

-The tallest member is Shoru and his flowing magma skin lets him adjust his height (he can even be a mini kaiju).

• O’Clock is planned to be a “platinum GB” alongside Goldenboy and his new partner-in-crime in S8. A “silver GB” is a likely concept in the future of the show, so I won’t do anything with that for now unless otherwise.

• Termita can hack herself into technological devices literally. For example, she make multiple copies of herself on television screens.

• The force of Vac’s vacuuming power is as powerful as a wind storm. Cyclone is the counter for this.

• Fleur has Fall allergies.

• Kuda’s slicing speed rivals that of Karakumo’s (they’re both insanely fast).

• Quiberus, combined with those snake-like exhaust pipes, can hit a pretty high decibel.

• Kemiw can swim on sand AND snow (but the former is more effective for him).

• Ray is the only sane member of the carnival.

• Other than shapeshifting, USO can stun opponents but using its only eye as a flash bomb.

• Ratrap smells like garbage. No seriously, he does.

• Dex can speak another language, but it’s very indecipherable. No one knows what it is.

Kyoufu Carnival in general

• The Kyoufu Carnival’s purpose is to strike specific fears of their visitors, but they’ve been growing aggressive lately. It prompted Karakumo to leave because they no longer scare people for fun.

-Additionally, I’m in the process of figuring out what specific kinds of fears each of the carnival’s members represent. The possibility of revamping those not Despairada and Rakumo is high.

AUs

• The majority of the Kyoufu Carnival work for the Emperor’s Coven. Inei, specifically, works as a Coven Captain and secretly checks up on Teen Wing’s curse.
