so this is the anon from the agency. i took my time to get to know some colleagues, and i was chatting with one who has a more balanced take on all the gossip. she’s super sweet, and i trust her opinion. here’s what she had to say about the liv/quinn situation:
first off, just to clear things up: the entertainment industry is full of drama and gossip, and that makes it tricky because you never really know what’s true. so, take this as just gossip, not hard facts.
1.) a lot of models have a type. kind of like how hockey players always seem to go for blonde, petite, slim girls, models tend to go for people with money and success. especially when they’re just starting out and suddenly have access to a whole new world. some of them eventually realize that status and money don’t necessarily equal happiness. but (at that time) liv seemed to fit the model stereotype. she’s nice and kind, but the guys she’s been with all fall into the same category—athletes, models, business guys—basically, successful people.
2.) liv is a nice girl (as in, polite and not full of herself), but my friend thinks she was kind of naive. she seemed more into quinn’s lifestyle and what he could offer rather than quinn as a person. so that piece of gossip might actually be true. she wasn’t with him for the fame or clout—she kept things low-key at first—but whenever she talked about him, it was always about his achievements, never really about him as a person. from the outside, the relationship seemed kind of empty. oh, and apparently, that comment about not being with him for his looks was true. she actually said that. but she later tried to correct herself, saying she didn’t mean it like that, just that he had more to offer.
3.) she was young and probably didn’t fully understand how much of a commitment it takes to be with a professional athlete. in the later part of the relationship, she ended up complaining a LOT.
4.) about the whole “she was easy” thing—liv has a naturally flirty and friendly personality. she’s just one of those people who gives off a warm, inviting vibe. my friend said she personally wouldn’t act like liv if she was in a relationship, but liv was never actually caught cheating. she thinks liv might’ve been trying to make quinn jealous, maybe flirting a little more than she should have just to get a reaction. there were definitely times where she seemed to hint that she wanted more attention from him.
5.) my friend also thinks they actually broke up before it was officially “announced”. liv was seen getting cozy with another guy months before the breakup news came out, and she completely stopped talking about quinn. so something must’ve gone wrong way before the public even knew about it.
from the outside, the whole thing just seemed like a messy, not so happy love story. and on liv’s end, it came off a little childish.
but of course, this is just one side of the story! we have no idea what quinn did or didn’t do in this relationship.
