Preference #7: He cries in front of you
Sam Pottorff: The boys were currently on their O2L Digi tour and everyone was having the time of their lives on the tour bus. You hadn’t noticed that Sam was missing until Kian asked you where he was. Your eyebrows furrowed together as you told them you had no idea. You wandered to the back of the bus where you heard a voice coming from. Sam. It sounded like he was talking on the phone to someone. You stood in the entryway and waiting for him to finish. You weren’t really paying much attention to what was being said or what was happening until you heard Sam sniffle and finally said goodbye. You couldn’t help but wonder if he was crying. “Sam?” You said barely audible. His hands flew to his face as he slid the back of his hand against his cheeks. “Hey,” you said in a whisper as you knelt down in front of him. He buried his face in his hands as he said, “I just miss them so much,” It wasn’t hard to put two and two together. You knew how much Sam missed his family when we was away from them for so long. Sam laid his head in your lap as you settled on the floor. You fingers tangled in his hair, knowing how much it soothed him. “You’ll see them soon,”
Ricky Dillon: "Ricky, I can’t do this anymore. I can’t continue to pretend like I’m completely okay with you always hanging around with Jenn or Andrea or every other girl youtuber out there. It makes me feel like shit when you’re with them, which is always," You said throwing random clothing items into your little travel bag, "I’m just done!" You zipped up your bag and started walking out the door but got stopped when you felt a grip on your elbow. It wasn’t tight, but it was enough to pull you pack, "Ricky please just let me go," You said loud enough for him to hear. Ricky let out a quiet but long sigh before saying, "Please don’t go, (y/n). I don’t want to lose you, please, (y/n)," You turned around in time to see a few tears roll down Ricky’s face, "Please," he said almost above a whisper. Ricky’s voice cracked as more and more tears fell. You felt horrible putting him through this, but it’s what’s for best, "I can’t Ricky. I’m sorry. When you get everything straight, then call me. But for now, I have to go," You wrapped your arms around Ricky’s waist and said, "You’ll do okay without me," His arms snaked over your shoulders and held you tight, almost as if you were never coming back.
Connor Franta: You’ve seen Connor upset sometimes but never to the point where you’ve seen him cry. Until today. Today was the day Connor was making his youtube video…telling his fans he’s leaving O2L. The O2L channel was his life and without it, he wouldn’t be anywhere near where he is now. You were sitting behind the camera watching Connor film when you saw his eyes start to glisten. You tried to tell Connor to keep going, to finish the video but he couldn’t. The tears rolled down his cheeks and almost immediately you engulfed him into a hug. “Hey, don’t cry. Everything’s going to be okay, I promise.” You told him trying to calm him down a little. In between sobs, Connor said, “I feel like I’m disappointing them. I don’t want them to hate me for leaving,” You felt a pang in your heart and finally you said, “Connor, listen to me. Some of them may hate you for this but the majority of your fans are going to accept it and support your choice of leaving. You’re not disappointing anybody, do you understand that? Your fans love you and this is a huge step for you and for them but they’ll accept it.” Connor’s lips connected with yours suddenly and when he pulled away he said, “Thank you, I needed that.”
Kian Lawley: It was just announced that O2L was ending, but they were doing a goodbye week for the fans. All the boys were upset, but Kian took it the hardest. You were watching him film his final O2L video and every second he paused, you heard a sniffle. It took him a few times, but finally he got the beginning filmed and then the middle and finally, he finished. But the second that video camera turned off, you knew he was going to be a mess. And you were right. “I don’t want this to end, (y/n).” Kian sobbed as you pulled him into your arms. You didn’t know what to say because you didn’t want it to end either. “It’s not ending. Like you said, it’s just the first chapter,” You felt a tear slip down your face as Kian let out another cry. “Please don’t cry. The fans, they love you. You’re going on tour with Jc. This isn’t over, Ki,” You kissed his temple, hoping to calm him down at least a little. You whispered, “O2L is never going to be over.”
Jc Caylen: Jc was never one for showing emotion. The only emotion he ever showed was happy. So when he came home one day crying, you know it was bad. “Jc? Babe, what’s wrong? What happened?” Ignoring your questions, Jc ran to the bedroom and threw himself under the blankets, closing out the world, “Jc, please talk to me, what’s going on?” You didn’t want to bug him but it hurt seeing him this way and it hurt even more knowing you couldn’t do anything to cheer him up. You let out a small sigh and crawled under the covers as well. Jc didn’t move over much, but just enough so you wouldn’t fall off the bed. After a few minutes, Jc’s head rested on your chest. “I love you,” Kian said finally. Before you had the chance to respond back, he started to say, “Please don’t leave me. Everybody leaves and I never want to see you leave,” You opened your mouth a few times before finally saying, “Never.”
Trevor Moran: You were at Trevor’s house watching a movie when you fell asleep. You woke up again to find Trevor no where in his room. Trevor had just recently put the XIAT Ep out and you knew some people weren’t really supportive of it. You went out into the living room to find him watching, well more like staring, at the tv. “Want to talk about it?” You asked knowing he was upset over the EP. “What do you want me to say, (Y/n)?! Do you want me to tell you about how sick and tired I am of people telling me I suck?! Or how people are always bashing on my music?! Because there you go! I’m so sick of these people telling me I can’t sing!” The tears poured out of Trevor’s eyes so you grabbed at his shirt and pulled him towards you, “Stop, Trev. You know everything they say is bullshit. They’re just using your fame against you because they can’t go big with the life they have,” Trevor cried into your shirt as you continued speaking soothing words, “I love you,” he said as the tears stopped. “I love you too, Trevor. And I love your music,”
