@o5-kappa Toe Eater Pride
o5-kappa asked:🤕
This was not a proxy. There were five proxies all laid out, and the Liar found them. The Liar was taken down with all of her proxies. This was only a proxy. The Father of Lies had fallen alongside three of her proxies. There were never any proxies for O5-11. The Liar went down alone. The Liar was very much wounded. So were the proxies. No matter what was said.
And, no matter what was said, there was blood. The sites were all different. The site was all the same. It was off-site, on a different mission. Several missions. They were all in different areas, but they were all around the same site.
It no longer mattered why Eleven/s were there. She couldn’t accomplish her task, now, anyway. Four of them, on the ground, in varying states of disarray. None of them lost. All of them lost.
The Liar and her proxies were alive, but not well. The ground beneath many of them glistened. Several melted into the floors, the grass, the concrete below them.
The Liar was in a crumpled heap. The Liar had not prepared for a strike like that. Pride comes before a fall, as they say.
So many people passed by. No people passed by. A handful passed by. None of them stopped. Only a few stopped. Nobody recognized her, so she must not have been important. She was probably killed in defense of the site, anyway.
At least one person stopped. The Liar lifted her head, as best as she could, to see who it was. Her eyes watered, though whether it was pain, gratitude, sorrow, or frustration was anyone’s guess. Not even Liar could untangle that one.
No matter what was true, the fact remained: O5-11, The Father of Lies, was on the ground, bruised, bloodied, and broken, and standing before her was O5-9, Kappa. She could only hope he had a plan to get more help than she had been able to.
