Im done with the oh only Percy and Annabeth could have survived tartarus. Leo and Frank totally would have survived. Leo would have learned the fire is edible bc he drinks some of it as a dare and realizes it heals them

Frank gets more and more eldritch forms to shape shift into.

Add Hazel and tartarus is begging for mercy.

I think people forget that Percy asked that everyone who died in battle for Manhattan makes it to elysium. Like imagine being a loyal Kronos follower and finding yourself in a vip afterlife.

Alternatively, imagine being a camp jupiter casualty, and suddenly, you see a bunch of ghosts just skipping the line to judgment and heading straight to elysium.

The two sides of being a Jewish fan of Pjo is feeling conflicted on the Jewish representation. Its on one hand being grateful Rick recognized his limits and didn’t try to delve deeper into what it means to have a Jewish demigod. It’s also being sad that the one confirmed Jewish character, the Jewishness feels more like a barely explored token than representation that is strong enough to stand in its own right.

My contraversial headcanon of the evening (based on people's responses to it in the servers I'm in) is that demigod adulthood is generally safer than childhood.

Monsters prefer to go after children because they're far more vulnerable and less likely to be trained.

If you're an adult you're either not important enough for them to care for, or you're trained and much harder to make a meal out of.

Demigod adulthood isn't perfectly safe. But your monster attacks are more once a month at most (though tougher) as opposed to weekly. Also, you have more ways to defend yourself and avoid getting fired bc you likely have some knowledge of the mist and human interaction.

Cries in Jason was a small child left behind who was forced to grow into a symbolic perfect hero/weapon of Olympus too fast. He finally gets the chance to be comfortable enough to explore himself when he loses the support network he found that made him comfortable enough to do just that (Leo is MIA and Piper breaks up with him). He dies all to be remembered more as a symbol than the real person he might have been if he had lived.

With Jason's death, the child he could have been is left behind, just like it always was.
