The two sides of being a Jewish fan of Pjo is feeling conflicted on the Jewish representation. Its on one hand being grateful Rick recognized his limits and didn’t try to delve deeper into what it means to have a Jewish demigod. It’s also being sad that the one confirmed Jewish character, the Jewishness feels more like a barely explored token than representation that is strong enough to stand in its own right.

Winter 2002 vs. 2016.

I had to go to downtown Duluth recently, twice. I don’t recommend it.

See that big open heated space? That’s not for you. Big groups of people can cram into the three sided “shelter” outside that possibly holds a small portion of potential total bus riders. -20 below zero? Fuck you. Duluth is still full of shit.

Standing around there waiting to deal with other people’s nonsense gave me such an uneasy feeling. It’s like a dream I constantly have where Lieblings and the farm never happened and I just kept living the same mediocre life. But this time I was physically standing in that alternate reality.

Once you’ve lived a shit life, you never stop running from it.

the way killing eve deals with villanelle’s sexual issues AND phallus envy (killing and castrating men, either for entertainment or to get rid of them as competition; in adjacent scenes, topping women) really goes straight for the brutal kill shot with lesbian and ftm spectrum folks huh lmao.

like no one is like this irl. but the depiction is almost cruel. because it targets right in on feelings that are an actual issue/skeleton in people’s closets.

but then gives those issues to a “psychopath” killer. (and yet portrays her as semi-likeable and sympathetic! at the same time? the show’s writing is implicitly rooting for her, even.)

Honestly, 98.9999% of my thoughts are just me having long angry rants about: 1) the slow walker in front of me 2) my horrible habit of procrastinating 8) the fact I'm to lazy to even fix the numbers( kind of did it on purpose anyways) 3) how differently I imagined my future 7) how no one else can seem to grasp the amazing potential I have 4) my inability to communicate with anyone properly 5) why I haven't succeeded at world domination yet 6) the people sitting a few feet away from me who seem a little to happy 5) how crazy I am to be angry about these things in the first place.
