This is the inside of an oak apple gall which is formed due to wasps taking over leaves from oak trees to lay a single wasp larvae. The larvae is inside the middle of the fuzzy mass - you can see a hole where it was if you look closely. ————————————————— #oakapplegall #oakapple #oak #gall #wasp #larvae #wasplarvae #takeover #leaves #middle #hole #fuzzy #papery #nature #naturephotography https://www.instagram.com/p/BvysFJIF2-J/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=cmq1txpr9nh2
