5. Is there a tiny detail in one of your fics that you feel goes tragically unnoticed?

I have two things, kinda...

First, my chapter titles in Keeping Score. I know chapter titles are just a throwaway detail, and they're whatever, but I worked really hard to find musical terms that were also just terms that get used in speech so most people would know what the mean *and* that had some relevance to the chapter.

Second, in Freefalling, the panel that Mickey has to repair is 21-19, which is a reference to the Gallagher house... And then the shut off to use if there's a problem is the next but one panel, which is a reference to Kev and V... I was pleased with the little Easter egg but no one ever commented on it 😭😆.

I guess I didn't really *expect* anyone to notice either of those things, but... A part of me always secretly hoped someone would 😆.

10. If you could banish a single trope to live at the bottom of the ocean, never to be seen again by any human eyes (or at least your own), which trope would that be?

Umm... I don't actually know. Because there are things I never seek out, but I'd read if I got enough recommendations from people I trusted, or if it was written by one of my faves. And most of them I wouldn't deprive other people of, even if it's *absolutely* not my thing. So like mpreg, not my thing, but I don't have a violent *nope* reaction to it, or to anything in particular. Sorry, that's not a very dramatic answer 😆.

The Dig thing is pandering. I love Dig, was one of the people who complained about a lack of storyline for him. This seems like they're tryna rectify that and finally have him step away from the agony-aunt/olicity cheerleader persona he was given. Also, the rumours of he and Tina hooking up? The O/Fs lost their shit and were super toxic when Juliana mentioned BC/GA once, so pairing the stand in arrow with the knock-off canary? Marc is dumb enough to think that will quell both sides of the fandom

They did an interview saying Diggle/Tina wouldn’t happen, and that Tina has a different love interest this season. So I don’t think - no matter what people see between them - that it’s going to happen. But then again, maybe if they see enough people talking about it they’ll hook ‘em up, fake Arrow and fake Canary!

But yeah, I mean more pandering towards those who seem to have a thing for seeing Diggle in the Green Arrow suit. But you’re right, this could be them trying to give him a bigger storyline. I just wish it came from a place of logic, and not one of complete illogical hypocrisy. If passing the mantle down to someone is all about making sure you don’t die and abandon your child, you can’t hand it to someone that also has a child without the implications of “well, I don’t care if you die and leave your child fatherless.” It’s total bull. 

Every time I see Diggle, it just reminds me of how he was clearly meant for the grave in Season 4, and they changed their minds, and now suddenly he’s just like a shell walking around without a purpose because he had a grave with his name on it and with a *snap of the fingers* now he doesn’t.

Saw your tags on the gifs of 3x06, about how Mickey looked almost relieved. And I made myself so sad when I realised he probably was relieved. Because he thought Terry would kill him. He probably thought Terry would target Ian too. And he's too weak to fight him off, he can't protect himself or Ian physically, but he can do this one thing if it keeps them both alive.

Ooof yeah that scene... Seeing it in those gifs all up close and slow motion, you get the full range of facial expressions. And yeah... I think he was relieved. Relieved that that was "all" Terry was going to do and maybe Ian would be okay... Fucking sucker punch me in the gut it would hurt less. 😭😭😭

I never pretended to like Tina or the bullshit new canary thing, but so far Juliana has been nothing but sweet and her and Katie have been very openly supportive of each other. But, the oliciters who claimed that they LOVED Tina and she was the REAL Black Canary (using her as a deflection from the fact they hate LL for ship purposes) are now actively hating on Juliana because she vaguely acknowledged paying homage to the comics when she was asked about BC/GA. They're all fake af and I'm tired.

Yep. Completely agree. Juliana has been nothing but sweet about the whole situation and doesn’t deserve the attacks she’s getting just like Katie hasn’t deserved any of the fucking hate she’s gotten since day one, and it just goes to show that Olicitiers just hate whoever threatens their ship and they can all just get fucked honestly.
