Random thing I mentioned back then in the original post :

U know how all OBs have marking on their faces ? And remember how Jack almost got jumped by the other savanavlaw students in one of Leona’s vignettes? The markings on Jack’s face are meant to .. kinda represent what would’ve happened if they did manage to get 2 him lol

Random fun facts about OB Jack howl design ! (Scrapped ideas / clarifying info since ppl seem lo love him)

Originally , OB Jack was more meant to be a shadow milk cookie of sorts. Just chaotic in general.. but I really didn’t end up liking that concept so it got scrapped ( I thought it was too boring) 

Jack’s design was mainly inspired by the song “Premier Amour” by Malice Mizer AND Madoka Magica witches (tho not in the traditional, nightmare fuel way) 

Jack’s weapon of choice is a hammer ! Like a judge’s hammer..  this one was heavily inspired off Bebe, Mami Tomoe’s companion from Madoka Magica as well!

Jack’s whole character revolves around Justice. He believes he’s above all rules and likes to bend them to his will while still enforcing them on others.

The reason why Jack overbloted is thanks to his dormmates. Remember that one wish he made in wish upon a star? In which he wished to be fast enough to beat that.. reindeer (?? I don’t remember the exact animal) in a race. ? Well……. 

Wolves are social creatures by nature, and as much as Jack hates to admit it, he’d love to be sociable as well (tho his resting bitch face makes it difficult) So not only is he kind of intimidating looking… and his dormmates don’t respect him so he’s constantly pushed away, it’s the perfect excuse for Jack to cut them off even more and isolate himself. That’s when the reindeer wish comes up, Jack starts overusing his unique magic as a way to train AND to let loose and not think much of anything

It’s a “If I isolate myself first, you won’t be able of damaging me next” situation 

So much from overusing his UM and boom. Overblot. He then decides that it’s a good idea for him to “teach them all a lesson” and “justice” ensues.

Back go character ideas … 

I wanted Jack to be overly emotional on his overblot , this because of the very nonchalant way he carries himself most of the time.. but I didn’t like that either 

Instead, Jack carried a permanent smile on his face most of the time, take it as someone who’s so into their delusions they can’t see the wrong they cause .

He goes from bullied to bully basically , always justifying himself and finding ways to shift the blame onto other people so he’s ALWAYS in the right .

OB Jack was also inspired by a very specific K-Angel sprite tho I can’t find it ..

I saw how other ppl interpreted OB Jack, often as aggressive or animalistic .. which is perfectly cool and I love them!! But I wanted to make this OB Jack more “refined” , sort of like an angel of justice .. mod is a sucker for those kind of “Angels who do the wrong things, believe they’re above everyone else while still looking beautiful and ethereal “ kind of trope.

under the normal Jack nonchalance , there’s someone who cares a little too much (probably a mod interpretation I don’t remember ) , so I took the little spin on it and made Jack look really elegant and “fragile” on purpose, he can kick ass no problem tho

Jack’s mascot (Judge hammer pet) which let me tell you, doesn’t have a name, isn’t really made to make any sense .. the wings?? The broom? It’s on purpose to just kind make someone think “what the fuck is happening “  but I didn’t want to overdo it !

The judge hammer pet spews nonsense 90% of the time, not even Jack understands what’s it says .. 

take Bebe from Madoka once again and a reference for it’s speech. 

I took lots of inspo from Malice mizer actually .. (vibe wise )

ANOTHER THING I REMEMBER FROM MY ORIGINAL POST!

— I had realized early on that no OB student had a “physical weapon ” but Jack does! I feel like he wouldn’t be powerful enough to attack with his own magic, thus having to use Judge hammer pet (who I still do not have a name for)
