The goal for 2025 is to doodle more and not worrying about finishing things (though I like both of these so I'm going to keep going lol)
On the left is Ob'rag, Symon's oldest brother, in his Absolute raiments, rocking his claymore. Regrettably I know nothing about swords so the grip is escaping me...
And then on the right my dear tav Sy'munuk getting Astarion a nice, homemade meal ♥. I'm picturing this as the first time and also trying to get the details of Symon's tent sorted - he toes the line of frivolous and practical, but this is early enough in being dropped miles from home with nothing that he's still building up his supply of useless trinkets. I'll have to neaten up the writing I did for this scene if I can. Endure sharing that ever.
I wasn't super happy with how Ob'rag's face came out yesterday so I thought I'd make an actual reference for his and everyone's faces (bald so I didn't get distracted by hair, and so I would make them distinct without it. the numbers are their age order.). I did sort of half-arse Symon's face because I've drawn that more but he did end up having a lot of similar features to Narga which is cute.
Narga... perhaps she needs to be bald, look at her... I've learnt Durz is the easiest to draw though aha
Attempted to make a map of the relationships in Symon's family and... very quickly ran out of space on the page. It's hard enough to read in person and I'm fully missing some comments so I've got the overview below the cut! (From oldest to youngest, which is the top centre, clockwise. Heading is the one with the opinion and then who their opinion is about).
NARGA (42) - Berserker Barbarian
Ob'rag - Always my LITTLE brother. (Co-dependent)
Durz - it's too hard to read you and you don't complain
Symon - Why didn't you rely on us more? where ARE you
Ikkath - It's up to the oldest to shoulder this stuff... take a break.
Hogarth - FINALLY someone with some rage in them. My little prodigy!
OB'RAG (40) - Battlemaster Fighter
Narga - Reliable, we lean on each other (co-dependent)
Durz - Someone who can look out for himself
Symon - You still have NO idea how much you were shielded from. Ungrateful, family traitor
Ikkath - ...I could have done better with you....
Hogarth - He's a fool but he can handle himself (A little softer on him than everyone else)
DURZ (35) - War Cleric (Gruumsh)
Narga - She's far more stressed than she lets on (if I knew what gender was I'd envy it)
Ob'rag - He's intimidating. It's easier to do as he says unless Father would be angry
Symon - Loud. Stick to non-healing spells. Should be nicer to his friends (I think we gave you too hard a time about leaving)
Ikkath & Hogarth - They'll both be okay, I think
SYMON (31) - Lore Bard
Narga - Things would have been easier if you didn't side with Ob'rag all the time.
Ob'rag - I'll never forgive you.
Durz - Seems like he has no opinions of his own. Ob'rag & Orok's little minion.
Ikkath - Little brother, I need to look out for him. I wish I'd taken you with me.
Hogarth - Gods, you're annoying (it's too late for me to change)
IKKATH (25) - Fighter/Shadow Monk
Narga - She really needs a break, I can see how much she's strained.
Ob'rag - I can see what you think you're doing, but I dunno...
Durz - He talks to me more than the others, I'm glad.
Symon - Can I still trust you? After how you treated Hogarth, it seems you only cared for me selfishly...
Hogarth - I worry so much (INSANELY co-dependent, trying to be less so).
HOGARTH (23) - Bard-barian
