he’s not been home for long. The mission had been long and hard, and he'd had to sit through debriefing after fucking debriefing, filing reports and statements and more shit than he could shake a stick at before they'd let him come home. So his uniform is left tossed on the bathroom floor, shield propped up against the toilet. He'd come in through the bathroom window; he had no plan to do anything but shower when he got home.                              Of course, he hasn't accounted for Bucky.           He's washing the debris from his hair, shaking out the dust and washing           the grime from hi body when he hears the bathroom door open, feather-light           footsteps stopping after a second. Steve wipes the condensation from the          side of the shower cubicle and smiles at Bucky.                    "Uh—- hi."
