“Actually a vacation is exactly what it is for me!”
Merlin smiled brightly at Waver as he lazed about on the couch. The Caster was speaking true about being on vacation. At least in his opinion he was and was going to relax when they were not fighting other Servants. The serene ease he had was simply part of who he was though his aura of calmness certainly seemed not to affect Waver either because of the Magus’s supremely stern persona or because of the Master-Servant bond.
“Besides what is there to be serious about? It’s been weeks and nothing’s happened and you won’t let me out of the apartment!” Merlin pouted a bit before letting out a long sigh. “I can blend in just fine! At least let me come to your lecture today. Think of it as a....security measure. A powerful Assassin could easily slip through the barriers surrounding that school. I know I could alter them in a heartbeat to never notice my presence, but them I’m me.”
@obdurcte liked for a short starter!
“So... I know I haven’t been working here long enough to have a say in anything, but shouldn’t you be a little nicer to our customers?” The question was asked while Leon sorted the freshly cleaned cups and glasses back into the shelves they belonged. Personally, he couldn’t care less how this guy treated their customers; it just seemed like a nice way to strike up a conversation with his colleague.
She wasn’t quite sure why she liked this man so much. Maybe it was because he treated her respectfully, or forced her to be restrained, or maybe it was just the fact that he was quiet. Tiamat didn’t care for rowdy creatures.
The Beast stared over his shoulder as he was doing... something. Running a stick across some paper? And the stick was leaving something behind? She could read what he was recording, loaded with all languages as she should be, but otherwise Tiamat knew very little of the modern era.
She wished she could say... something. Express her interest, ask for one of those sticks, thank him...?
“Aaaa...?”

The boy smiled at Waver and bobbed his head. It was an odd smile; the way his lips twisted into a grin didn’t seem natural.
“I’ve been transferred from the botany department to this one...” Flat didn’t go into too many details, but secretly he was worried that yet another teacher would come to hate him. Feeling anxious because he was running low on teachers, he didn’t want to even consider what might happen should he run out.
It’s happening again...was all that he could think. But even thinking such negative thoughts, the boy did his best to keep small talk with the boy next to him.
“So what is Lord EI Melloi like?”
@obdurcte
“You are...a teacher?” A child, no older than six years old, look up at the elder man. A guest that was summoned into Nero’s Rome. The emperor went off about something about Altera and her Praetor needing a proper education in their life since all they knew about was fighting and the Holy Grail War.
“So, you know all type of good and bad civilizations, right? Teacher?”
