Me too! I’m sure it’s an inevitable situation. I can just imagine any teamwork they would need to do would end up being hilarious, because Erina never knows just quite how to deal with Souma, and he very easily flusters her/gets under her skin hee. ^^

Please tell me you enjoyed the stagiaire arc of Shokugeki! I really like how Hisako eventually befriends Souma and even greets him casually at the autumn leaf viewing event. It feels like Souma and Erina are getting one step closer to each other :')

I absolutely enjoyed the Stagiaire arc! I feel like it was a big turning point in the story, and for the character relationships. ^^ Like you said, Souma becoming friendly with Hisako, and Megumi becoming friendly with Erina, was a huge step towards closing the distance between Erina and Souma. Before any of that happened, Hisako always acted as a blockade to Erina and Souma interactions, but now she’s a bridge to them hee. ^-^

I'm only up to post-autumn election arc! I haven't had the time to catch up, but the anime adaption has brought back my motivation! And the fact that Souma and Erina are connected through Souma's father. Did someone say fate? I actually found your answer about Souma & Erina when I tried to search the Souma x Erina tag! I was so happy you shipped them too! But disappointed that there wasn't much of any Souma x Erina posts at all on Tumblr!! Like what??

Exactly! As soon as we saw Erina in the same picture as Souma’s dad, and that she thinks he is the epitome of good cooking, that pretty much guarantees their fates will continue to intertwine hee! And yeah, I know! I was surprised how little there was too, and there was much less at the time I made that post, which was ages ago now. I think the anime will change that, though. I’m already seeing more posts about the series in general, so hopefully more people will discover the fun of this ship, too. ^-^
