I’m writing again ... sorta. Going back through some old docs and pulling out scenes and outtakes to add to One Big Happy Weasley Family and Postscripts, so you’ll see some new posts with alternate POVs, dialogue drabbles, and the like over the weekend with a focus on my Eighth Year Hinny/Romione/Weasley boys stuff.

As a long-time dedicated Harmony fan, might I just say that I do not condone or even understand all the Weasley bashing. I will never be behind that. It’s ridiculous to ignore authorial intent to that extent.

(Tbh, I feel this way about Dumbledore bashing too.)

A collection of unrelated drabbles and one-shots featuring various members of the Weasley family.

The best idea I’ve ever had, hands down. Statistically not my most popular fic but always a crowd-pleaser. I’ll probably never mark it complete; it’s too useful. It has everything from full-blown oneshots to ficlets to mere drabbles that were never going to get fleshed out or inserted into a larger fic. Nearly every chapter is deliberately funny. All 7 Weasley kids are featured somewhere, and most of the in-laws. All 12 grandchildren at least have an appearance, if not a speaking part. One big, happy, Weasley family indeed!

Don’t worry, this is a collection of one-shots! In this case, a post-war Charlie and Ginny sibling fic. By my count, there are at least thirteen references to six of my other fics in this chapter. A ficlet to whoever matches the most!

I want to know about my favorite Weasley compilation! ;) And I would like to know what your favorite line of dialogue is. So "One Big Happy Weasley Family" (your choice of chapter) & question #4!

Oh, wow, that’s a hard one! Okay, I’m going to give you two: one funny and one serious. 

Funny, from chapter four, Daughters Are the Best Revenge: “It’s not funny,” Harry grumbled, returning his attention to his daughter and her admirers. Arthur replied, “On the contrary, Harry, from where I’m sitting, it’s hilarious.” You have to know the relationships to get the joke, but I find Harry trying to get Arthur to commiserate with him about Lily Luna’s popularity hilarious, especially considering Arthur probably thought much the same thing about Harry when Ginny was a teenager. And Arthur just sits there and lets Harry dig the hole, you know?

Serious, from chapter eleven, Not That Big of a Leap: Regarding Molly not wanting the twins to join the Order, and referring to their uncles Gideon and Fabian, Bill tells the twins, “It’s not that big of a leap from dead twin brothers to dead twin sons.” The parallels between the four men, their closeness to Molly, how Bill remembers them and Fred and George don’t, the instant double guilt trip–Bill says so much in that one sentence without lecturing at all.
