I know people have asked you before about what you think the dynamics between characters would look like, but I don't think anyone has yet asked you about Iruka/Obito, so I wanted to ask!!
How do you think a dynamic (romantic or not) between them would be like?
who is iruka if not an indoctrinated obito? who is obito if not an iruka that chose to revolt? lol just kidding. but also not really.
obito's whole thing is that the shinobi world is inherently unjust, evil, and broken (triggered by rin's death/kakashi's role in it). he lost hope in everything the village offered and focused his life on creating a world where conflict and death did not exist. iruka, on the other hand, clung to that world/the village (ie, the will of fire) and dedicated his life to facilitating a safer version of it for future generations. his parents deaths tied him to it to such an extent that the third hokage recognized it and, as a result, led to the third hokage later entrusting him with naruto.
(the ethics/morality of the konoha aside) whenever i think about them, this is where i start: they're polar opposites. one is incredibly strong, one is a regular soldier. one clung to his grief, one clung to his heart. one wants to eradicate the system that took everything from him, the other wants to uphold the system that took him in/gave him something to believe in after he lost everything.
But! that's just circumstances. Their personalities share some commonalities-- kindness (initially, for obito, at least,), sensitivity, selflessness, and determination (since they both hold steadfast to their beliefs) being the most obvious.
So what would their dynamic be like? that really depends! if we're talking tobi/madara!obito then i think they'd both feel pity/sympathy for each other for different reasons.
obito would pity iruka for buying into the will of fire the same way you'd pity a beaten dog running back to its owner. and iruka would feel sympathy for obito for what he had to go through alone. (if that iruka knew that obito was essentially responsible for his parents deaths/the attack, then that would complicate everything tenfold-- he'd forgive him but the road to that would be rocky rocky rocky)
romantically........ i think they're compatible, despite the potential for things to turn toxic. or maybe because of it. they compliment each others dispositions (for the aforementioned reasons) and challenge each others world view in a way that is so so so compelling to me.
just some quick thoughts. anyway, we need more obiiru in the world <3

A saliva-sealed pact binds a fading movie star and an ambitious youth. One, grizzled and scarred, accustomed to the top and starved for adoration; the other, possessing beauty, mystery, and an indomitable spirit, made to dominate the emptiness of California's deserts.
Kakashi needs Iruka's fire, that desire, the vitality dripping from his sweaty skin, and intends to suck every drop to heal his afflictions. But he soon discovers there is no antidote for this venom, and the greater the dose, the harder it becomes to sustain his most valuable asset: his image. Iruka is both a boy and a grown man. Owner of grand dreams, yet still small in a world of titans like Kakashi, he lets himself be seduced by power at the shores of uncharted waters; a dark sea, churned by waves that nearly swallow him.
When all control seems lost, Obito appears: an orange sky of heat and charm, leading the three to a crossroads on the edge of an abyss where dreams of passion and family, power, loyalty, and fame collide—and the price to pay might be their very souls. It remains to be seen who will be the first to take a false step and fall.
This is a story of dust, pleasure, and power, and how desire can become the deadliest weapon.
