The young detective looked somehow relieved to find someone who agreed with her. She had seen far too many people who were willing to tweak the evidence and the way it was presented to serve their purposes or achieve the goal they wanted to get - in her line of work it was apparently one of the options and she didn't like it at all." She didn’t think it was the real justice which motivated them if they thought like that and acted that way on purpose, it was greed and the desire to cheat the system. 

“I am glad to find people who believe in finding the truth and striving for the true justice here, mr. Wright. Some people I have met think the opposite for some reason.” Naoto was glad that she had taken the temporary position to assist Wright & Co. Law Offices in this case. She still needed to find a proper way to address people here since she couldn’t obviously use her overformal way of speaking everywhere - it attracted attention in a not desired way. She voiced her interest in being in a court session someday to see how it was in live circumstances.

Miles starts, blinking almost owlishly at Wright, but his expression swiftly softens. Pink dusts his cheeks and his brown eyes are warm. “I… could say the same about you.” A spike of anxiety pierces him at the honesty, but he ignores it.
