what would israfel think/feel about watching an oblivious gabriel and michael pine after each other for eons before finally getting together? i imagine he’d be exasperated and relieved lol
It’s complicated. On the one hand he wants his siblings to be happy, and if they are happy together, good for them. At the same time, he’s seen how much of an idiot Michael can be, and he’s not certain that it’s a relationship that can last, and that the fallout would make things worse than before. Yet he knows Michael’s devotion to Gabriel is singular, and Israfel is glad that Gabriel has someone like that.
Relieved has little to do with it, but he would be amused, and possibly exasperated. He has a policy of noninterference when it comes to his nestmates, and watching all that time could certainly try one’s patience. He also believes, however, it’s for the better that they got together without his interference.
