I feel like this is common knowledge or it's already been asked, but do you (or anyone else) know if the guy clones are genetically identical to the girls, just obviously different genders? Like do Sarah and Mark have the same DNA like Sarah and Cos do, for example.

I think this is probably a question for cosima-geekmonkey-niehaus. 

Although, if I remember correctly, I have asked her this question before and the answer was: no, they do not have the same DNA. Why, I couldn't tell you. Something about a chromosome. I think. Maybe.

Do you think one of Sarah's ovaries was going to be implanted into Rachel? Also, have you noticed the close ups of the word "Rimbaud" in Felix's apartment? I know Arthur Rimbaud was a French poet and a libertine. I noticed it a few episodes back and I noticed it twice in last night's finale.

1. MAYBE. Rachel Duncan scares me ok. She scares me a lot and this is not something I would put past her. We should all be very scared of Rachel Duncan. 

2. I had seen this! I'm pretty sure it's always been there, so I wouldn't read into it too much though (or, you know, do....I expect a full Rimbaud analysis by morning). 

Has anyone else looked into Rimbaud? I'd love some more info about how that might match up to Felix or the plot of Orphan Black.

quick question: cosima's question to delphine last episode "what have you done?" - does it indicate that delphine knew that rachel was setting sarah up? (the question wasn't really addressed this episode but delphine said "you used me" before she gets sent off, which gives the impression that rachel had told delphine to mislead sarah?)

I think this pretty clearly indicated that Delphine inadvertently helped Rachel to kidnap Kira. 

But, that's just my take on it. Anyone else have any other ideas?

Hello, I would first just like to say that the insightful analyses that you have written are a huge pleasure to read and have really added to the experience of being a fan of this show. Thank you for writing them! And secondly, as a fairly new member of the cloneclub, I don't know who else to ask this but I was wondering if you knew any blogs that tackle the more "science" side of OB?

Ok, the truth of this matter is that I am not very up on the science side of tumblr. But, I would also like to know who these important souls are. 

Help a newbie Clone Clubber out?! (and an oldie Clone Clubber, too. Am I an oldie Clone Clubber? I don't know. Is there like a certain amount of times you have to have destroyed the fandom before you become an oldie Clone Clubber and have I reached that quota yet?)

Hey Jacq, can you explain who/what you think "topside" is? Rachel's mentioned it in this episode and in 1x10 (i think?) when she's offering Sarah to sign the contract.

I have absolutely no idea. I always assumed it was Rachel's little pet name for the transition to self-awareness program? 

Anyone else have any ideas or theories?!

Why do you think Beth decided to contact Tony but not Sarah? Chances are they both got found due to their records (which likely have similar if not the same sort of charges on them). Maybe Beth didn't tell Sarah because of Kira? After all, she's a detective and she'd likely do some looking into the others before contacting them to see what sort of people she was dealing with. So she looks into Sarah, sees she has a bio kid and decides it's better to leave her out of it as a result.

I think this is a very sound theory. I've already established that I think it's basically canon that Beth knew about Sarah (I mean, how could it not be?) but talking about why Beth might have refrained from getting in contact with Sarah is a great thing to theorize about. My two favorite theories (that are not necessarily mutually exclusive) are the one you laid out here, and the one where Beth decided not to contact Sarah because she was a criminal and didn't want to be responsible for her. Or, alternatively, Beth might have just not been able to get in touch with Sarah. All good questions. All good theories. Only time will tell. 

What's your favorite theory, Clone Club? The Beth ones are always my favorite.
