• And like other peoples of this cold green mountain range, this town had a cemetery, one all well wrapped in mist. And it came to pass that one day, when the sun was high in the sky, a man came out of the whitest of graves, and with patience spoke loudly to all those sleeping and silent people: «Ladies and Gentlemen: Why are we here so many useful people asleep in deep sleep? Let's get up, shake, wake up, comb our hair with our fingers, and return fearlessly to our homes! - ». When they arrived nimbly to the town, nobody in the town was surprised to see them. The strong man was honored as a Justice of the Peace. And the happiest peace reigned throughout the atmosphere of the town and its inhabitants. From the cemetery they made a garden with a rose garden whose roses say they never wither. Y aconteció que un día, cuando el sol estuvo en lo más alto del cielo, un hombre salió de la más blanca de las tumbas, y con paciencia habló fuerte dirigiéndose a toda aquella gente durmiente y silenciosa: «-Señoras y señores: ¿Por qué estamos aquí tantas personas útiles dormidas en profundo sueño? ¡Levantémonos, sacudámonos, despertémonos, peinemos con los dedos nuestro cabello, y volvamos sin miedo a nuestras casas!-». Cuando llegaron ágilmente al pueblo, nadie en el pueblo se extrañó de verlos. Al hombre fuerte le honraron todos como a Juez de Paz. Y la paz más feliz reinó en toda la atmósfera del pueblo y sus habitantes. Del cementerio hicieron un jardín con una rosalera cuyas rosas dicen que nunca se marchitan.
