I can’t stop drawing them as their past selves… I wanted to try and make a reference for Spider Lily’s outfit so that’s why I made this but then I thought of making Obscure Umbra as well so erm… The little baby umbra😢 goo goo ga ga mommy lily

Also I couldn’t stop drawing chibis today so I did a drawing of the trio, it’s a love triangle!!! (Or a v polycule or whatever they call it I’m not familiar with poly stuff since I’ve never done it before blep)

Bamboo Blade seems shocked that Spider Lily is in a relationship with Obscure Umbra (she does not want to be with them btw since I haven’t stated this, maybe in the past, but not now. In fact, she doesn’t even know it’s the same person from the past!!! Though they feel familiar to her… Hmm…) She just can’t help it!!! She finds him attractive! And Obscure Umbra… Well… She didn’t have a choice, it’s not her fault!! Cut her some slack!

I’ve always wanted to make a spider lily based cookie run oc and this was the perfect opportunity🥸

Okay just because she’s new, the lore is a bit messy atm so bear with me but here’s the general idea

Spider Lily Cookie was apart of a clan that slayed evil spirits. Then one day an expedition goes wrong and she becomes possessed by an evil spirit. Her clan abandons her the moment she had been corrupted by the evil spirit because they didn’t want anything to do with an evil spirit but at the same time didn’t want to hurt her. So they just left her alone and because of the evil spirit that fused with her, she has patterns. These patterns are slowly causing her to crumble away. Meaning if she didn’t get rid of the evil spirit within, she would… Well, die. That is when Obscure Umbra Cookie appears, seeing this as a new opportunity to recruit her. They told her that they would help her stay intact and not crumble but in return she would have to join their cult, which she does. Now, she is a servant of them, basically for the rest of her life unless she finds a way on her own which… They will not allow for some reason and they will not elaborate on it either.

That’s uhhh that’s it!! For now… I’ll explain their relationship laterrrrr….

I reminisce on the past, thinking how we could’ve ruled this dull world together. You were the only cookie who did not forsaken me, foolishly so. I can still feel your lingering touch on my skin, that is something I could never forget. It is quite infuriating yet I crave it the longer we are apart. I do not know what curse you have bestowed upon me, but surprisingly, it holds its everlasting poison till this very day.
