ooc: Noct/Lightning, Noct/Stella and Noct/Noct (please excuse the last one, that's my weirdness seeping in.)
outofcharacter. Aa, yes… this is actually one of my ships for Noctis, though initially I did not ship them nor see the appeal of the pairing until a certain Lightning on here made me change my mind. Hn, where to start…? I actually prefer this more so than Noctis/Stella [Stellis/Noctella]—not even going to keep this hidden since I spoke on both for more than one occasion. Quite frankly, I do not care for fairy tales. I don’t want it. I want something raw, something ardent, broken, flawed and can be molded. I believe that Noctis/Lightning [Lightis] can present that opportunity to me. I find the thought of the soldier and the prince potentially building a romantic relationship appealing. They can both learn from one another…teach each other lessons in life. I would not think that Lightning would particularly care about the fact that Noctis is royalty… a prince and actually treat him as a human being and see him for him [which I think he would appreciate, no doubt about it]. She could teach him how to become more confident in himself since he has a shy nature and enduring the hardships that come his way. Her independence and “I-don’t-deal-with-utter-bullshit”, blunt attitude could possibly attract him since as I have said previously: since he does seem to be shy, he does not deal nor surround himself with many people as they see him as nothing more than a prince and basically worship him and treat him as though he is a celebrity. As for Noctis, ah… he would respect that she is a soldier and the hardships she had endured throughout her life to where she is now. He could teach her how to relax and that he can take care of her instead of her just taking care of everyone else [Serah more so and to a much lesser extent, herself]. Certainly, I would not think their relationship would be picturesque and impeccable, but that is just the way I like it.
outofcharacter. Ah, no, my apologies. I am mostly neutral concerning the pairing, but I honestly cannot find any logical reason to ship these two together. The pairing just screams 'Romeo and Juliet' to me, which ugh—as much as I enjoy Shakespeare, I cannot find it within myself to enjoy that particular play. What amuses me, however, is that several people claim that Noctis has a crush on Stella. Since when was that insinuated? That one particularly scene where they are conversing concerning the light? It was apparent to me that Noctis felt uncomfortable talking about it and wanting to drop the subject altogether, but could not because of Stella. I feel that sometimes in general, people read too much into things, and this is a quintessence of it. Also, I have noticed that some people like to pairing them off together simply because she is the only leading female revealed thus far in Versus [other than the Dragoon Lady, but nothing is known about her], and that to them is reason enough to ship them together. As I have said, my mind can be changed, but I just cannot find it within myself to ship them myself.
outofcharacter. It is quite alright. This is a surprise—receiving this particular pairing, but I find there is no need to even speak much on this. I always ship the fuck out of selfcest, as I do with each and every one of my muses. I admit, it would be quite… interesting to explore Noctis/Noctis. I consider myself pretty open-minded, after all.
