Day 17: Tickle Traps! (ler Remus, lee Nightmare Nico, [attempted] lee Logan)
Okay, Remus hadn't been very successful with his traps, besides the figurative bear trap.
But he had to try one more time! Surely there's something that would catch Thomas!
And better yet, that nosy nerd Logan!
Remus chuckled at his own thought. Logan did have a rather cute nose!
But no, he had to focus. And build a trap that would catch him for quite a long while so Thomas could figure out the obvious...
First he took a shower, using his homemade "Turd Sham-poo." (No soap in it of course, since he was allergic.)
Then he watched some true crime documentaries.
But regardless of how much he pondered, there was nothing he could think of that would make Logan distracted enough to make him stop directing Thomas. He would heal quickly from any blows, and Remus didn't want to seriously injure Logan, no matter how much he'd shown him up in the past.
Nightmare Nico showed up, pushing past him and stretching himself out on the couch. He fell asleep immediately and started to snore.
Remus scoffed at his adopted son.
Just cause he was now part of his family didn't mean he could lay anywhere he wanted!
He walked up to the couch and grabbed Nico's sides to move him. Nico squeaked and flinched. Remus raised an eyebrow.
"Wait a second... that's it!"
That's when he got the perfect plan! He left Nico and sank out.

Remus chuckled as he set up the trap for Logan in front of his door.
Oooh, this would be rich!
To hear the uptight nerd scream with laughter and beg for mercy? He couldn't wait!
When Remus finished the trap he called out. "Ohhh Looooooogaaaaan!"
From behind the door, a voice came. "What is it?"
"Come out and see!"
Logan exhaled defeatedly. "Whatever it is, Remus, I'm not in the mood. Go play with one of the others..."
"But Looooogan! I spent so much time on it!" He whined.
Logan rolled his eyes and opened the door. "Fine. What is it?"
Remus could hardly contain his giddiness as Logan stepped out of his room, right onto the wire that triggered the trap!
Logan looked around. "I don't see anything." He walked forward, out of the trap, and looked around some more.
"Nonono, Logan, come back!" Remus said, clenching his fists. It was so perfect!
Logan shrugged and started to walk back into place...
But suddenly Nightmare Nico popped up, right where the trap was.
"Remus, we're out of energy drinks-!" he started to say. But then two mechanical hands caught his wrists, while a bunch of feathers fluttered across the sides of his body, from his armpits to his hips! "AAAHAHHAAAAHAHAHAHHAAAAAA!!! STAHAHAAHAAHAHHAAHAAAP!!! GET THEM OFF ME!! HEHEHEHEHEEEEE!!"
Even more of his dark mascara started running as Nico shed tears of mirth. He struggled and shook his head. The feathers then brushed along the sides of his neck, making him turtle.
"HEEHEEHEHEHEHEEHEEEEE!! IHIHIHIIIII MEHEHEHEAN IHIHIIT!"
Remus rolled his eyes and pressed the button to deactivate the trap.
Nightmare Nico was raspy as he giggled between breaths. Logan looked on, a slight smile twitching at his lips.
Stomping his foot, Remus glared at Logan. Drat, his plan was foiled!
"Better luck next time," Logan said, keeping himself together for the time being. He slipped back into his room, locked the door, and then broke. Tons of laughs and giggles echoing through his room. Not only did he laugh because it was hilarious how Remus' plan failed, but also because of empathizing with Nightmare Nico, since the trap had been meant for him. He couldn't imagine actually being caught by the trap, so he considered himself lucky to have escaped.
"Ah, well... At least it's nice to hear him laugh," Remus thought.
Turning around to call it a day, Remus stepped right into his own trap.
"Oh, Poopie!"
The cartoon hands grabbed Remus' wrists and held them up.
Nico smirked and watched.
"You there! Get me out!" Remus cried. A feather brushed under his chin. "Ehheehee! NAhahaaaa!"
Holding the remote in his hands, Nico turned the trap's controls to the highest intensity. Remus shrieked and flailed.
"HAAHAAHAHAHAHAAAA!! YOUUOOUOUOOUU BRAHAHAAHAT!!"
"Yep, this is what we call justice!" Nico chuckled to himself.
