our friends weren't even consciously aware that we switched while gaming (we got slightly overwhelmed with a new level, overwhelm/anxiety is an immediate trigger for me) but our voice changed and they got immediately softer and more patient and helpful without even realizing it themselves

we took a break and our friend came back and asked my name and talked to me directly and said i did a really super good job at the game which was super awesome because im a littlw quieter and more anxious and i was worried i was getting in the way or making it seem like we werent having as much fun anymore

complex plural culture is yes. i'm two guys. that guy over there is two guys. neither of us are subsystems. we both get called one guy. that guy over there doesn't need communication. i pretend to communicate to other me. no they're not a singular dude theyre just two guys who happen to be a dude. no, i'm not a singular guy either.
