Fun fact in the very center of Milan, right in front of the Duomo, there are palm trees that were put there by Starbucks when they opened for the first time. The right-wing people were horrified because they associate palms to Africa (like there aren’t palms everywhere in the south...) but it was actually a reference to the history of the city, because there were palms there in the 1800s!
