I’m playing Pillars of Eternity and i’m really intrigued by the Paladins in this setting. They range from Typical paladins like the kind wayfarers to the goldpack knight which are mercenaries to the bleak walkers who are brutal zealots

My favorite though is the Darcozzi Paladini 

Old Vailia is basically a mix of italy and spain so you are basically playing as fun loving rapier wielding paladins and I love that concept. it’s something I don’t see often in fantasy settings......I think I may have to start again and play as one but then again I have a lot of ideas for a lot of characters

You know one thing I quite like about Pillars of Eternity is that all the countries are pretty diverse. 

Like in a lot of fantasy you get elf lands, dwarf lands etc and while you still get things like that in Pillars, with like the white that wends being mostly pale elves and rauatai being mostly Aumaua, most locations are like real countries with a wide range of people......It just makes it feel more real

My Fatebinders: Vedicus (noble scion, scarlet chorus), Minerva (soldier, disfavoured) and Augustus (lawbreaker, rebels)

I’ve played up until the tower in Tyranny with both scarlet chorus and disfavored and I think i’ll prefer playing disfavored side of things in this game.

As entertaining as voices of nerat is i’ll take lawful evil over chaotic edgelords evil any day

finished Tyranny now. it’s a good game, if a little short :)

will probably do another playthrough and try a different faction but I genuinely like my lawful evil boyz (disfavored). I can also better tailor my character to the game now

I’m not sure why i’m not getting fully invested in pillars of eternity....maybe it’s the setting. The next one I love the look of, The deadfire archipelago looks much more interesting than the Free Palatinate of Dyrwood.

or maybe i’m just not far enough in and just want to keep making characters

I’ve settled onto two pillars of eternity characters, both are ginger, both have names beginning with A........
