“I- I swear! it was an accident.!”

Confused with what was going on with the castle, Cullen found this peculiar wand lying on the ground. Being a half-witch himself, he carefully examined the wand, pondered on its effect and the structure of magic that was built into it. Then, accidentally, he triggered the wand. A light shot from its tip and hit the mirror in front of it, reflected it off an hit the tall figure on the other side of the corridor.

His jaw almost dropped when he saw a collar and a leash began to form around the tall man’s neck. He blinked, finally figured out part of the magic’s effect.

“I am so, so sorry! I...How do I reverse this? Are you feeling alright? Should I get the doctor or- Oh god.”

It was late. Much later, too, than he had intended it to be as he made his way to the store his friend owned. Work had gotten the better of him and truthfully he had a soft bruise on his neck to show for it. This damn collar and the curse seemed to just add the cherry on top of his vulnerability and he hated it. He was in a more foul mood than usual but the sight of his friend would hopefully cheer him up. He gave the store door a knock and waited with his thick jacket tight around him and his hands once more shoved into his pockets. It was a cold night and unfortunately he was feeling it.
