She’s never been in this restaurant before, and was honestly surprised it was even open this early– what time was it? Mijoo didn’t even know. It didn’t look like a place that sold many breakfast foods. In fact it gave off some sort of rich boy jungle vibe that Mijoo would appreciate if she wasn’t so goddamn tired.
Mijoo sat at the bar because she honestly couldn’t be bothered with a table. She probably wasn’t going to eat much for the sake of attempting to stick to her diet ( she hates dieting, but her boss insists she try ). She, somewhat blearily, looks at the man serving her and for a second wondered what he saw. Probably eye bags upon eye bags paired with hair that could only be described as a knot– a mess– but at least he looked unfazed. “Hi, um,” she blinks down at the long list of frothy coffee drinks that honestly sounded amazing, but Mijoo didn’t want to have too much sugar before sleeping. “I’ll just have a plain coffee? Milk, no sugar?” She manages a small smile, seeing it was the least she could do. She almost waits for him to go, her hand cupping around the water he provided her with, before she asks. “What do you do for breakfast here?
Nodding at her selection, Cris grabbed the ipad from behind the bar and quickly punched in her order. “Our breakfast is a bit limited compared to other meals but nonetheless still delicious." He assured her, since most people didn't think this place was a prime breakfast spot. "If you’re feeling some sweets, I’d suggest our strawberry crepes with honey. It actually includes a plain coffee in the price. We also have egg toast with potato bread and if you're feeling really hungry, we have a dish called the Simple Fix..." pointing to a small painted picture on the side of the menu that included a Fried Egg, rice and beans and two watermelon slices. With his finger still on the menu, he looked up her and tilted his head. He was too busy trying to play server that he didn't realize she might not have been the type for a big breakfast. She looked a bit tired and worn and given it was still early, understood her lack of an appetite. Maybe she was on her way home and just needed some sleep. Cris could understand that, but he couldn't shake the scent of sweat and desire that lingered around her. Made him wonder what exactly it was she was going home from.
"...But you're probably not into all that right now, I'm sure." Moving towards the back of the bar, he poured her coffee before turning back to face her. Pouring the warm milk from a kettle below the bar in a small porcelain jug, he placed it in front of her besides her cup. It was all about the little things with him. "How about you tell me what your in the mood for." He said trying to cater to whatever her situation was. "And I'll see what I can do."
The man didn't have any alternative motives for the kindness he was showing. While she was beautiful, he wasn't doing this to impress or to seduce. It was just the type of person he was. Cris was kind and he figured with this being her first time in the establishment, he might as well make it a good one. "Anything you want, just tell me."
