Ok but can we address how the “AM needs to die because *insert BS reason*” and “Izuku needs to lose his arm so he’ll learn a lesson” takes are both ableist?? Saying the disabled character needs to die, or implying that being limbless is a punishment? I doubt the implications behind these takes are intentional, but they still leave a bad taste in my mouth :/

A B S O L U T E L Y ! and i agree with you; i don't think people are intending to come across that way when they make these suggestions, HOWEVER, critical thinking should play a part in how we analysis and spectate over things so that we don't overlook elements such as what you mentioned (especially when i feel like people have brought this up before????? but who's to say for sure).

either way, the ableist undertone is definitely something worth highlighting and keeping in mind as we continue to see those sort of comments come up

In terms of things that go down in episodes, what would you say is a more fucked up show, Rick and Morty or Superjail?

Superjail! is waaaay more fucked up, imo. Rick and Morty can get graphic at times, but it’s not every episode and usually involves cartoon-y alien violence. Whereas every episode of Superjail! is basically a setup for extreme violence sequences that go out of their way to be as shocking and horrifying as possible. It’s not even the kind of show that I watch normally, but I heard the animation was great and decided to give it a try. I think it’s worth watching for the concept and some of the tripper sequences, but be aware that it’s incredibly violent and gruesome.

People acting like it’s soo sad that Bakugou isn’t being let in to see his “best friend”, but like. Izuku is in a coma. Do you honestly think the best thing for the guy in a coma, who is also in critical physical condition, is to have Bakugou yell at him for not being awake when he is? I believe Bakugou’s grief is real, but Bakugou is also very emotionally inarticulate and is only capable of expressing *any* of his emotions by screaming. Do people really think that the guy in a coma should have someone scream at their body while they’re comatose???

I'm also operating on a very little amount of knowledge on what the fuck is going on cause i still can't be bothered to read the chapter, but bakugou was like, coughing up blood when he was being carried away right? so, with all that in mind that you've already said, it's also important to note that it doesn't matter how bad bk wants to see izuku if his little theatricals are fucking up his own condition as well????? like, he's out here screaming "why do you get to snooze while I'm still up" or whatever, but if he doesn't chill the fuck out, he won't be up and moving long either :/
