-- a break

Sooah always enjoyed a night out after a week full of work, especially with what have been happening around town. Sometimes she is grateful she could alter the fate of those who might have faced a greater misfortune, but other times, seeing the friends she cherishes most getting hurt is almost unbearable. It’s like a sick game -- she never know when it’s going to be the last time she’d ever get to see their smiles.
That aside, she’s never one to indulge herself with alcohol. The drinks always makes it hard to let her mind think, as if a veil was pulled over her head to stop her from thinking. Ever since then, she always made sure to restrict herself. A healer is useless if she can’t take care of herself.
Just as she sipped on her first drink – a small glass of Bailey’s Irish Cream – she turned her focus to the yelling and crashing that have been going on for awhile behind her. It had started almost 15 minutes ago when she was halfway down her drink. Based off the sound that came from there, she knew she would be needed. But she didn’t mindlessly butt her head in when they were still fighting, that’s what heroic idiots do, instead, she waited until it was all over.
After the sound of light music fall across the room, she left her unfinished drink on the table and snatching her small bag from her lap to make her way to where she thought the fight was. Without wasting much time, she focused on the smell of blood (she silently hoped there weren’t any) and followed it until a visibly battered figure was found.
“Ah, I assume the offender have finally gone?” A soft laughter left her lips as a smile traces across her features. She sits next to the man, setting her purse aside, “I’m surprised, he did quite the damage on you. Are there any injuries you’d like me to look over?”
