the thing is. i really hate the whole ‘playing through injury is noble/brave’ narrative. and the mentality that abusing players is ok if it gets good results. that ‘some people need that motivation’. and that’s... a lot of the movie. 

maybe if you have to degrade someone to get them to do something. you should think about why that is. just a thought.
