What is it with people's desire, need practically, to tell you things you quite clearly already know??? I've been quite tall for pretty much my whole life, and while that's certainly not a disability, (Unless you factor in that I'm a trans woman and being tall makes me highly visible and almost immediately outed as being trans in almost all situations. Which can sometimes be incredibly dangerous. Also, lots of head wounds. So many head wounds.) it does apparently compel complete strangers to march straight up to me, on the regular, and inform me of my great height. As if somehow I had failed to notice. Also, no, I do not play basketball. I do not want to play basketball. In fact, I suck at basketball.
