This one is based off an older sketch and happens to be perfect for Dru’s Starbound prompt for april, CHALLENGE ROOM.
The story of how my novakid Axus got this hat? pet? being? the thing? creature. His oldest crewmate Afia asumes that it is an rabbit.
This template is really fun to do! aaa I enjoyed the challenge of doing all the species in one go on one canvas.
Here its my novakid Axus that is the base, extra we have an erchius moontant? process and a fenerox.

aaaaaand thats how Axus “recruited” his first crewmember/ later close friend Afia by sparing her life and not claiming the reward placed by local authorities. Even after years he would still think on this moment as one of those that shaped him into who he is.
