Bit info dump

Bit can slightly change their size by expanding or compressing their body. They can go from large chipmunk size to child sized.

Being compressed down to chipmunk size causes some of their functions to temporarily deactivate, making their mannerisms much more animalistic.

They're called Bit because they like to bite people and things. Also their name stands for Biting Information Retrieval unit. No one knows why they can bite .

Bit is a prototype SIR unit and was given to the irken scientist Zasha (by @astraldemise ).

Zasha still has no idea that Bit was the one that let the specimen escape due to an error in Bit's code that has them attempting to sabotage the irken empire for it's own good.

Bit has been repaired with a number of things over their decades spent on Earth, the most prominent being a bear trap now making their teeth.

Bit feeds the birds regularly, having a loyal following at this point that even followed them to America, the birds retrieve parts Bit needs to repair themself.

Bit has an extensive firearm collection that they have never once used, but keep in good condition.

Bit's first plan of action in protecting Zasha is to bite the closest person and to not let go.

“They’re Stranded” Masterpost

I feel like I should have a masterpost to some of my story ideas, so I think it’d be best to start with “They’re Stranded” since it’s currently what I’m fixated on. :]

I will warn you: it’s a lot of text.

Plot

The plot is simple enough: it’s about two intelligent robots named Bel (the more lifelike one) and BIT (the older but more intelligent one) that form an alliance to get back to earth after being stranded in a galaxy.

Characters (So Far

I do have a bit of info for the characters themselves too:

Bel is a companion bot. She tends to be positive most of the time, but can also seem like a dimwit (she is not). She most likely ended up on the planet after being thrown out of a spaceship for a currently unknown reason (I say currently unknown since explaining more would kinda spoil the series).

BIT is the more serious one, not intended to have feelings; it was simply made to calculate and process. (Oddly enough, the more he feels, the more EMOTIONS he feels, if that makes since.) He was in a spaceship as part of an earth expedition, I believe, as a computer who ended up becoming part of the family. The ship ended up crashing and BIT seems to be the only one left alive.

First Episode(?)

In the first episode (not an actual episode, just the first story I told of it), Bel and BIT form their alliance and head into a nearby city to get their thoughts together, but they end up just exploring the city.

(I would post the script of a first episode here, but I haven’t started writing the series and I’m a bit nervous about my writing skills either way)

And if you were possibly wondering: yes, I would be fine with you drawing/writing about the characters as long as it’s appropriate. And make sure to tag me if you do!
