So...
How are Gaffer and Foley doing with their kids? How does Foley feel about all this?
Foley is actually getting used to family life faster than he expected, as mechanical children are easier to take care of than organic ones. He adores his only daughter, Cipher-9, and the youngest kid, Decibel. The eldest and most mature one out of the triplets, Octave, tends to stick to Gaffer's side more often, since he was Zircon once upon a time.
However, mechanical kids are more energetic. Sometimes units can see these 6-inch mini-speakers running, jumping, teleporting around without a care in the world. But Foley's principle is that as long as the kids are capable of defending themselves and not causing unnecessary trouble, they should have all the freedom they want. Additionally, Gaffer is keeping an eye out for her little ones at all times, while Foley is the scarier one out of the two of them to the kids. As long as they don't wander too far from a detectable distance, they are free from the punishment of doing extra chores at their parents' workshop. Plus, who doesn't want cool upgrades from a pair of artillery engineers of the Alliance?
The triplets might not be able to defend themselves yet, but they are able to escape the scene within seconds with their mobility perks.
Hiding in Foley's or Gaffer's pockets is always a great experience. Sometimes, units can even see three little speakers perched on Foley's shoulders when he's out for an errand.
Nevertheless, they are slaying everyone with their cuteness.
